Job Description

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Technical Support Specialist is to perform and support all areas of training for the web-x customers.  This individual will work closely with our customers, I.T. teams, field sales and internal teams who also contribute to the support and overall quality of our Web X platform.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working and demonstratable knowledge of all company web platforms and functionality.
  • Support changes to system domain, Favicon and CMS Editor Pages.
  • Support and conduct additional training sessions as needed.
  • Familiarity with Punch Out Catalogs such as Ariba, SAP, Vroozi and others.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and participate in technical integration calls with customers, third party software firms, and BES team.
  • Document/ customer required website changes that are above normal system functionality for review by third party software firms and BES staffs.
  • Help document, test and provide approval on new website features before distributed to customer sites.
  • Assist customers with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads, My Business and more
  • Assist customers with SEO set up for their website.
  • Run ad-hoc reports and imports for customers.
  • Familiarity with API’s.
  • Support our distributors with loading or linking their website advertisements. Such as banner ads, URL links to promo pages, catalog sections or PDFs.
  • Knowledge of and able to perform and train on website administration. Such as customers in Data Management, Users Control, Order Management, Pricing Management, Marketing Management, Translation, Settings and Network.
  • Suggest and aid customers in marketing their web sites.
  • Other special projects may apply.

 

Desired Background:

  • 3+ years’ experience in website development and/or support, project management, help desk, or related field.
  • High School Degree or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
  • HTML, CMS, CSS, PHP, Java, SQL, API’s, Web Programming Skills, E-commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications.
  • Ticket system experience. Jira, Fresh Desk, etc.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
  • Ability to speak Hebrew, Spanish, and/or French a plus.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Experience with MS Office including Excel, Libre and/or Open Office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently working with telephone .
  • Frequently sitting at workstation.
  • Ability to operate a computer.
  • Period Travel to customer sites for training/demonstrations.
