Job Description

  • Oversee:      Programs and Launches
  • Reports:       Engineering Manager
  • Must Have:  Tier 1 experience, 7 – 10 years’ experience – bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Must Have:  Program or Launch experience.  Must have excellence computer skills.  Power point, Tables, Excel, etc.

Objective of the Position: Plan and design the manufacturing processes, including equipment, tooling, gauging and testing, for Request for Quotations (RFQ’s) per the worldwide standards. 


Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

  • Complete customer documentation requirements pertaining to manufacturing process, equipment, layout, quality and delivery.
  • Complete customer supplier tool records for quote purposes.
  • Maintain good working relationship with Eberspaecher Germany for the efficient. exchange of experience related to process design.
  • Complete Standard Manufacturing Assembly Concept (SMAC) sheets as part of process development to support quoting activity.
  • Obtain input and approval of SMAC’s from receiving plant.
  • Develop material to present manufacturing process to customers for technical reviews during business acquisition process.
  • Answer pre-launch change Notices, including quoting of tooling or process changes.
  • Use Eberspaecher tooling and process standards in the development of new processes.
  • Create and execute Annual Personal Business Plan that supports EETAM Annual Business Plan.

Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

    • Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
    • Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
  • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all EETAM polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.

Requirement Profile:


Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years’ manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering experience working for an automotive supplier in welding or metal fabrication.
  • Minimum three years in process development.
  • Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Understanding of GD&T.
