Kee Container Services provides logistics support to Ferrous Processing and Trading Company, a premier processor, seller and recycler of scrap metal of all kinds. From massive auto shredding operations and specialty steel making and foundry products to nonferrous metals and industrial scrap management, FPT is supported by the unique skills and experience of our management, commercial and operations team. Position Overview:

 The Commercial Driver is responsible for transporting steel and scrap according to DOT regulations with a Commercial Driver License (CDL). The driver position also completes daily field service activities including preparing receipts, truck logs and maintenance records. Our drivers transport steel and scrap metals to commercial or industrial establishments.

Employment Type:


Minimum Qualifications for Drivers include: 

  • Class A & B CDL
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verification, criminal and motor vehicle record (MVR) search as well as continued verification throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards;
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions and temperatures;
  • Previous experience in a heavy haul or doubles a plus, however, we will train the right individual.
