From massive auto shredding operations and specialty steel making and foundry products to nonferrous metals and industrial scrap management.  We are supported by the unique skills and experience of our management, commercial and operations team. Kee Container Services has a position open for a Welder/Container Repair at various locations.

 Position Overview: 

The Welder is responsible for repairs and maintenance throughout our yard.  They will weld metal components to fabricate or repair roll off boxes and other yard equipment. 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes
  • Handle all preventative maintenance on roll off boxes
  • Repair broke or cracked parts, fill holes
  • Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs

 Minimum Qualifications include: 

  • Experience in the use of welding tools
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background, physical and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verification, criminal and motor vehicle record (MVR) search as well as continued verification throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards
