Customer Service Representative

This position will consist of (not limited to) the following:

Job Duties: MetroEHS’s Customer Service Representative handles potential clients’ calls (and online submissions) by answering questions, being empathic with the parent who has just recently learned that their child has a diagnosis that requires therapy, thereby finding solutions to issues, addressing concerns, providing important information and transferring calls to the correct department. The MetroEHS Pediatric
Therapy Customer Service Representative will be the first voice with whom our potential clients speak. Therefore, we need our Customer Service Representative to ensure every customer is satisfied with their experience with the company and their child’s therapy services.

Job Requirements: MetroEHS’s Customer Service Representatives use a variety of soft skills and industry and company knowledge to provide the most comprehensive support they can. These skills and qualifications can include:

  • Strong communication, both written & verbal
  • Great active listening skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal & rapport building skills
  • A patient & empathetic attitude
  • Strong time management & organizational skills
  • Adaptability & flexibility
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role & industry
  • Computer literacy
  • Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
  • Expertise in the customer service area
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, a plus Spanish and/or Arabic
  • An ability to ‘smile’ through the phone
  • Team player
  • Most importantly, while communicating with potential client and staff, ‘Treat others as you would want to be treated’

1. Rate of pay: $18-$20 per hour.
2. Employment status: W-2
