Position Available: 
  • Full Time, 2nd Shift Grounds Position
  • Wednesday-Sunday or Friday-Tuesday 2pm-10:30pm (flexible scheduling on weekends)
Hourly wage is starting at $16/hr

JOB SUMMARY:   Actively support the mission of DM Burr by working to ensure quality service and professionalism.  Assure service and facilities are of consistent and high quality by maintaining a clean, secure and a safe work environment.  Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:    
  • Maintains facility grounds, which includes cleaning the yard, trimming shrubbery, raking, planting, and weeding.  Cleans parking lots and driveways.  Removes snow from sidewalks and driveways and spreads sand, salt or ashes to prevent slipping.
  • Set up and clean up for outdoor and indoor athletic activities.
  • Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility
  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
  • Operate floor equipment such as; auto floor scrubbers and vacuums
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls
  • Stocking restrooms, janitorial closets and break rooms
  • Performs complete tasks of all service requests, maintenance, and preventive equipment inspections
  • Follow all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned or needed.
 
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High school diploma, GED or technical school certification
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity.
  • Valid driver’s license required (no restrictions)
  • Must have team aptitude and approach.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
