Position Snapshot
Industrial Cleaning Operators at US Ecology are responsible for removing material from our customers’ storage containers, and also using industrial equipment to thoroughly clean these containers.

Day in the Life

After grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

• Attend the morning safety meeting
• Get a briefing from your manager on the day’s activities
• Suit up with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the day and/or task
• Use heavy duty cleaning equipment to remove products from customer storage containers
• Operate equipment such as water blaster, fork lifts, back hoes, man lifts, excavators and to assist other departments
• Maintain accurate inspections logs, documentation of manifests and work orders
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you need to apply

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Comfort wearing a respirator as needed (Clean shaven/mustache facial hair acceptable)
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
• Needs Chauffeurs license or Willing to obtain
