Job Description

We are looking to hire a Manager in Training to join our team. This is a management trainee role that will provide you with all the hands-on experience you will need to lead and inspire others. You will gain experience across leasing & marketing, customer service, finance, and operations. The Manager in Training (MIT) program is a comprehensive nine-month development program designed to prepare future site leaders for a rewarding career in property management. You don’t have to have any experience in property management to join the Beztak team We will teach you everything you need to know about what we do!

Essential Functions

  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, friendly, and professional leasing office
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the community to provide a thorough and exceptional experience for residents and prospective residents
  • Responsible for the oversight and execution of building operations
  • Oversee budgeted financial expectations including rent collections, occupancy expectations, and expense guidelines
  • Learn all facets of the Property Manager role to effectively and independently manage a community to company standards by the conclusion of the designated time frame
  • Participate in monthly MIT meetings and trainings with designated program leaders
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with site staff and support teams

 Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years’ prior experience in service or hospitality related industries, required. Both strongly preferred.
  • Willing and able to relocate (Internal applicants will be relocated to a new property).
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Marketing Software

 Physical Demands

The position requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. You will also frequently walk, stand, and communicate with co-workers, guests, and the public.

Work Environment 

This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.

 Expected Work Schedule

Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm (subject to change)
