Job Description
Performance Driven Workforce is currently seeking CDL-A and CDL-B drivers who are familiar with the Metro Detroit area for full-time driving opportunities in Allen Park, MI. The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of US driving experience with a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license and a good driving record. PM Night shift available plus possible overtime.
Responsibilities of Drivers:
- Drive pre-production vehicles for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier.
- Evaluate pre-production vehicles part-time, providing feedback on durability, performance, vehicle noise abnormalities, comfort, etc.
- Drive in small groups on designated routes for 8-10 hour shifts while performing test procedures.
- Drivers are not required to have any automotive technical experience.
Compensation for CDL-A Drivers:
- $18.00 - $22.00/hr. (Depending on experience)
Shifts:
- AM: 6:45 am to 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday + OT as needed)
- PM: 4:00 am to 12:45 pm (Monday - Friday + OT as needed)
- Must be available to work weekends & OT as needed

Requirements of CDLA/B drivers:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid CDLA driver's license and a good driving record
- Have an updated DOT card
- Minimum 2 years driving experience in the U.S. or military equivalent
- Must have tow truck driving experience
- Must be familiar with the Detroit Metro area
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Hi-lo experience a plus
- Must be able to read maps and follow direction
- Must have reliable attendance and be able to work overtime/weekends
- Be able and ready to complete all tasks assigned
- Be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn
CDLA Preferred Skills:
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Switcher experience
