Job Description

Safety Administrator


The Safety Administrator provides routine and non-routine clerical and administrative support to the safety department. The Safety Administrator may work with sensitive information and will interface with the Safety Director to support the administration and training goals of the department.

  • Must be able to work independently and have a positive attitude.
  • Assist with incident report tracking and associated electronic files.
  • Learn safety-specific applications and support field personnel with the use or distribution of reports.
  • Provide administration to safety-specific software including setup of projects and users.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training programs using PowerPoint and other software.
  • Assist with the preparation of meetings and safety-specific events.
  • Take and manage meeting minutes and follow up on deliverables.
  • Periodically drive to various projects to deliver safety equipment to management teams.
  • Be able to proofread and correct presentations, training, and manuals.
  • Follow ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements as dictated by leadership for a thorough flow of documentation and record-keeping.
  • Participate in the audit process to ensure files (electronic and paper) are being maintained accurately and thoroughly.
  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry is a plus.


Software Requirements:  Excel (Advanced), Word (Intermediate), Adobe Writer, PowerPoint (Intermediate), and Outlook.
