Corporate Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for regular accounting tasks and creating and analyzing monthly financials to provide an overview of the company’s profits and costs in each sector (Resident, SMB, Enterprise (Large Business), Wireless). This position ensures all regulatory filings are complete, accounts have been sent to collections and completes miscellaneous accounting projects.

Position Type & Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, although may vary based on workload and work outside of the office. Some overtime will be required.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Manage Accounts Payable (track invoices out for approval, enter approved invoices)
• Manage the third party collections process
• Daily Bank Reconciliations
• Execute monthly and quarterly audits
• Review daily billings for anomalies
• Work Paper Review and reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts
• Monthly financial statement preparation
• Review Expiring Enterprise Contracts and update billing software
• Complete all regulatory filings and manage the third party CPA firm payments
• Create various analyses on an ad hoc basis
• Utilize programs such as QuickBooks, QuickTel/Rev.io, and Excel to complete tasks
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related discipline
• Experience
• 2-5 years of related experience
• Knowledge
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the reporting of financial data
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks and QuickTel
