Job Description


Assemble components to construct, rebuild and repair inductors and forge coils. 


Following established methods and procedures must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following:

  • Ability to read blueprints and use industrial math to verify parts dimensionally before and after assembly 
  • Ability to read, have knowledge of use and application of micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, indicators, and various shop gauges. 
  • Ability to follow directions and complete paperwork as required by supervisor
  • Strong communications skills other orally and written
  • Ability to construct coils by brazing and soldering
  • Ability to assembly coils by using hand tools
  • Experienced in safe operation of standard power and hand tools
  • Ability to operate the following industrial equipment, Band saws, Drill press, Torch, Sand Blaster
  • Knowldege and ability to troubleshoot and adjust when necessary

Also adhere to all plant safety rules and regulations, all policies and procedures, complete all daily paperwork and attend all job-related meetings


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a coil builder
