Torch Technologies, a 100% Employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Simulation Engineer with experience developing real-time human in the loop simulations with game engines and a deep understanding of simulation construction, frameworks, and design supporting the Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC) at Detroit Arsenal, MI. Candidate will work directly with customers to determine the requirements and is expected to support the planning and implementation of a network distributed simulation which integrates with Unreal Engine. Achieving simulation real-time performance is critical while managing subsystem scheduling synchronization. Candidate is expected to develop in fast iteration producing maintainable, testable, well-structured applications. Candidate should be dependable and self-motivated, eager to overcome challenges and solve problems. Previous experience working within a DoD environment is a plus, but not required.
