As a lab analyst for ETL you will be part of a talented team that forms an integral part of our company’s future. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starting individual who can be comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team in a laboratory setting.
 
 
Core Responsibilities and Duties
 
•        Analysis of bulk environmental samples (asbestos, mold) for detection of environmental hazards
•        Learn and perform advanced polarized light microscopy (PLM) techniques
•        Participation and completion of annual laboratory accreditation proficiency rounds and quality control tests
•        Generation of detailed analytical notes
•        Microscope calibration and station maintenance
•        The ability to come in every day and work hard to support fellow team members and satisfy client needs
•        The ability to work collaboratively with team members and management staff to achieve lab goals, solve problems, and suggest future improvements.
Other Requirements
Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrated team-oriented approach to problem-solving, and have strong interpersonal skills for contact with clients and fellow engineers/technicians.
Accuracy, dependability and strong organizational skills.
Exceptional time management skills, ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time, and have ability to work in a team environment.

High school diploma. College degree, scientific background, and microscopy experience preferred.
