Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Marposs Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of high precision electronic measuring and process control equipment, has an opening for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk.

Marposs designs and manufactures a wide range of products and solutions from; precision measurement of mechanical components of before, during and after the manufacturing process, process controls and machine tool conditions, leak tests for all industrial sectors, and automatic assembly and control lines. Marposs is a primary supplier of the major automotive manufacturers, for both ICE and EV applications, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, energy, consumer electronics and glass containers sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Ships and received goods.
• Organizing shipments and package materials for safe shipment
• Maintains costing files for each project.
• Obtains supplier cost estimates necessary for each project.
• Procures materials from Marposs suppliers and tracks the order to receipt.
• Allocates materials and/or equipment from stock.
• Coordinates vendor selection based on approved suppliers list.
• Schedules jobs with various departments with the direction of the Product Manager

Requirements:

• Exhibit excellent organizational skills
• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items

·         Ability to work well independently.

·         Proficient in MS Office and Access

·         Valid Driver’s license.

·         Willingness to operate warehouse equipment. Forklift training and licensing provided upon hire

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
