Job Description

Job Summary: The position involves providing technical and quality support to both the internal sales team and external customers. This includes tasks such as application development, coordinating with R&D, analyzing quality claims, and managing the product approval process. The role requires developing a deep understanding of motor design, customer usage conditions, and motor manufacturing techniques.

Essential Duties:

  1. Create and deliver technical materials to meet customer requests.
  2. Access relevant technical information from HQ databases.
  3. Participate in meetings with sales team to provide technical support during customer discussions.
  4. Communicate testing requirements to HQ for customer program development and prepare comprehensive test reports.
  5. Explain product offerings and technical details to the sales team and customers.
  6. Accompany customers on audits of overseas production facilities.
  7. Perform quality analyses on returned motors, coordinate additional testing at HQ, and prepare detailed analysis reports.
  8. Stay updated on new product offerings and train the sales team on product features.
  9. Make suggestions to enhance local testing capabilities and implement approved improvements.
  10. Prepare and facilitate audits by customers and certified auditors compliant with IATF16949 standards.
  11. Provide engineering and quality education to the sales department.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of DC motors.
  2. Excellent customer focus and commitment to ethical practices.
  3. Professional and professional conduct.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  5. Meticulous attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  7. Understanding of IATF16949 and/or VDA standards required for the automotive industry.
  8. No supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
