Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Responsibilities:
· Answer incoming customer calls for parts orders and assist customers who have questions on parts
· Create sales orders and packing lists using QuickBooks software
· Process parts orders including packing, labelling, shipping arrangements, and internal paperwork
· Arrange LTL, UPS, and FEDEX shipments on a daily basis
· Assist assembly shop with obtaining necessary parts for projects and the necessary paperwork to maintain inventory records
· Create and process purchase orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts required by customers
· Working with the assembly shop consolidate all shipments, calculate truck resources needed and arrange for pick up of shipments. Requires interaction with customers for approval of shipment
Skills required:
· Personable, polite, and courteous communication skills
· Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft 365 products as well as QuickBooks
· Ability to learn new skills in a timely manner
· Good mechanical aptitude
