In this role, you will be responsible for researching and identifying potential grant opportunities, preparing grant proposals and applications, and maintaining relationships with grant-making organizations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with the mission of Pierced Forever Foundation
• Prepare grant proposals and applications in collaboration with the Fundraising Director
• Maintain accurate records of grants submitted and received
• Monitor progress and outcomes of funded projects and submit progress reports to grant-making organizations as required
• Maintain relationships with grant-making organizations and develop new partnerships
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong research skills and experience with grant writing and application processes is preferred, but not required
Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship, but a worthwhile experience working in the nonprofit sector. As an alternative, we are happy to give academic credit to those eligible. This internship is also eligible for those looking to work remotely
