Store Associate - Cashier
Position Details
With your smile you assist store customers in a friendly and helpful manner and enhance their shopping experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
A Store Associate/Cashier greets all customers in a friendly, and courteous manner. You
cheerfully assist customers in their search for appropriate items. You professionally operate
our state-of-the-art Point of Sale cash registers and follow standard cash balancing procedures. You assist in tastefully displaying quality merchandise and helping with other store operations as needed.
BACKGROUND/SKILLS
• Prior retail and cashier experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent customer service skills including assisting all people in a professional and courteous manner.
• Cash handling experience and demonstrated accuracy
• Able to add, subtract, multiple and divide and demonstrated ability to use a calculator and
a cash register.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sales, Merchandising and Marketing skills preferred but not required

COMPENSATION

Store Associate - Production
Position Details
With your energy, attention to detail, and helpful manner you
cheerfully accept donations and prepare goods for sale. You are
the first step of the process of turning donations into funds to
help our Neighbors-in-Need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
A Store Associate/Production meets donors in a professional manner to receive appropriate
donations and sort them to the proper locations in the store’s processing area. You review
clothing and household goods for pricing and tagging using our Point of Sale barcoding system.
You set items on racks or shelves for tasteful display in the store’s retail area.
BACKGROUND/SKILLS
• Prior retail experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent attention to detail and job focus
• A professional and courteous manner with donors and other team members
• Able to add, subtract, multiple and divide and to use a calculator
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and learn the use of a pallet jack
• This job is predominately performed while standing
