Job purpose

The Document Control Administrator will be Responsible for improving, maintaining, and compliance of all controlled documentation for the Quality Management System (QMS), and assuring the system is compliant with all accreditation standards now and in the future.  Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion associated with documentation accuracy and compliance. Ensure processes, procedures and other documentation are compliant with the standard.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Produce and update reports.
  • Coordinate Internal and LPA audits and follow up on actions to resolve them.
  • Monitor and post Customer Scorecards.
  • Maintain plant KPI file.  Calculate, publish, and track plant quality KPI’s to be reported by Quality Director.
  • Control and update site level Quality Management documentation.
  • Improve, Organize, and maintain the QMS database in adherence to the standards.
  • Ensure procedures, processes, forms, Work Instructions and other documentation are accurately documented for IATF/ISO purposes.
  • Responsible for maintaining all Quality Control documents in SharePoint or other system as required.
  • Track non-conformances, action plans, and drive corrective action accountability across the organization.
  • Report internal and external audit findings
  • Willingness to take on more responsibilities; this position will encompass more duties as individual progresses in his or her training required.
  • Work with appropriate individual(s) to correct issues found with process documentation.
  • Support quality in the QMS.

 

What we’re looking for

  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree (preferred)  
  • Minimum of 2+ year' experience either in a Quality Admin or Document Control role. 
  • Working knowledge in a QMS / ISO / IATF / AIAG environment strongly preferred. 
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.  
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, and self-directed required. 
  • Ability to work with both hourly and salaried personnel required
  • Computer literate and experienced in Microsoft Office applications required.  MS Forms, MS Power Automate and SharePoint strongly preferred
