Position Summary:

In this entry level position the Laborer/Grinder aids in general shop operations. This individual deburrs, sands, grinds, and bevels any in process materials and finished product via hand held grinders.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Remove all excess weld spatter and wire stick outs from products
• Sand disc rough areas and grind all required weld
• Qualifies their work by using the Quality Assurance Inspection Traveler
• Abides by all safety standards, company guidelines, and policies
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to utilize a tape measure (preferred)
• Basic math skills
• Overhead crane experience (preferred)
• Hi-Lo experience (preferred)

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Shop environment, loud, frequent noises
• Ability to lift approximately 40lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
