Location: On-site, Oak Park, Michigan

Details: Full-time, Hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly based on experience.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Social Media Assistant to join a business in Oak Park, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing social media channels, focusing on engagement within the small business communities of Metro Detroit. This role requires an individual who is adept at creating and implementing effective marketing plans, offering innovative solutions, and achieving tangible results with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy and Growth:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to grow and engage audiences on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.

  • Use advanced analytics to track performance, adjust strategies, and report on results.

  • Proactively identify trends and opportunities for growth within the Metro Detroit small business community.

Creative Design:

  • Design compelling and effective visual content for social media campaigns.

  • Proficient use of graphic design tools, including Photoshop, to create high-quality visuals.

  • CRM and Email Marketing:

  • Manage and leverage CRM tools to enhance customer relationships and engagement.

  • Conduct email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact, ensuring alignment with social media strategies.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance to inform strategic decisions.

  • Regularly report insights and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in social media management and growth on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.

  • Strong expertise in social media analytics and a track record of using data to drive successful outcomes.

  • Advanced skills in creative design, with proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Photoshop.

  • Experience in CRM management and email marketing, with familiarity in using Constant Contact.

  • Ability to work independently, with no need for supervision or training.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a continuous flow of new ideas.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Deep understanding of the Metro Detroit small business community and its dynamics.
