The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Administrator to join our team. The Lead Network Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our company's network infrastructure. This includes configuring network hardware and software, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring network security.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and other network equipment
  • Troubleshoot and optimize network connectivity on LANs and wide area networks
  • Implement routine software/firmware upgrades, configuration audits, and device hardening
  • Develop configuration standards for improved administration and identify ways to improve network performance
  • Work with carriers to implement or troubleshoot WAN and internet circuits
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience will be considered
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, Routing protocols, VLANs, QoS
  • Experience with network hardware and software from Palo Alto, Aruba.
  • Experience with systems monitoring platforms such as Solarwinds Orion, PRTG, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Industry certifications such as HP Aruba Networking – Network Security, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred
  • U. S. Citizenship status required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
