Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI
Pay: $18.50–$24.00/hour (+ $1.50/hr raise once RBT certified)
Shifts: Part-time & Floater roles (afternoon / after-school hours)

At GBC Autism Services, we train and support you to become a Behavior Technician (BT) — or help you grow if you’re already a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You’ll work directly with kids with autism, teaching play, communication, and life skills that change lives.

What You’ll Do

• Work 1:1 with children to build communication, social, and play skills
• Support daily living skills (toilet training, dressing, self-care)
• Implement fun, play-based behavior therapy plans
• Collect data using easy-to-use tools
• Collaborate with your BCBA supervisor & therapy team

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be active (lifting up to 50 lbs, running, crouching, playing)
• Comfort with assisting children with hygiene & toilet training
• Strong communication skills in English
• No prior experience? We’ll train you — and pay for certification!
