Job Description

Eisenhower Center is a Traumatic Brain Injury rehabilitation facility. Eisenhower Center is seeking motivated and dynamic individual for our Maintenance Tech position.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and be insurable
  • Minimum of 3 years supervising residential/commercial remodeling projects
  • Experience with construction preferred  
  • Familiar with ADA Standards for Accessible Design is preferred
  • Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.
  • Must have basic knowledge/experience of repairs in the following areas
    • Electrical, plumbing, heating, drywall, painting, grounds work and carpentry skills 
  • Team oriented
  • Must be punctual and reliable


  • Responsible for knowing and observing relevant fire and safety regulations, as well as being aware of and practicing infection control policies and procedures.
  • Be able to assist in facility emergencies (i.e. floods, snowstorms, physical plant damage or damage that is a safety hazard.)
  • Participate in a 3 person on-call rotation for after hour emergencies with back-up by Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Assist with maintaining parking lot and facility grounds on a regular basis; this includes trimming bushes, sweeping, grounds clean-up, winter snow removal and other related grounds work.
  • Must be able to paint walls, trim and outside building.
  • Driving off campus to purchase maintenance supplies or to take a facility vehicle in for service or pick up.
  • Other duties as assigned
