Job Description

The Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead a dynamic, full-cycle recruitment process for the Atlas Copco SPR Product Company, located in New Hudson, MI (just west of Novi, convenient to I96), to include building best practices for sourcing and candidate networking, job postings, social media branding, hiring manager training, applicant tracking system ownership, and provide support for our new hire onboarding process.


  • Sources highly qualified candidates by developing and implementing recruitment strategies to achieve and maintain required staffing levels
  • Utilize expertise to assist hiring managers with writing and advertising Atlas Copco branded job descriptions and job postings to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
  • Establish and participate in recruitment and networking activities and events to support Atlas Copco recruitment goals.
  • Partner with hiring managers to assure competence in best practice hiring and selection processes, including utilization of processes, training and tools to attract and retain talented and qualified candidates and maintain legal compliance.
  • Participate in other HR assignments and projects in support of Atlas Copco HR strategy, branding, and onboarding.


  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience demonstrating success in full life-cycle recruitment activities, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, with demonstrated understanding of documentation and compliance requirements
  • Creative sourcing strategy experience and expertise in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, sense of urgency, self-direction and an ability to adjust priorities in a proactive manner as business needs change


  •  Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, or similar.
  • Preference for HR certification.


  •  Visual acuity to utilize HRIS on a daily basis.
  • Ability to communicate with employees and candidates via telephone or similar method on a daily basis.
  • Ability to travel offsite periodically for recruitment events and activities.
