The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for delivery, installation, monitoring, process improvement, preventative maintenance of the various manufacturing processes, including Forging, Heat Treat, Plating and Sorting/Collation. He/she will serve as an expert and resource to the Operations team, understanding the specifications and requirements for our production equipment. This position will also work closely with our U.K. process engineering team to ensure consistency and common methodology across the organization.

What we expect of you?
Always operate, utilize and maintain the equipment in a safe manner, and comply with related company policies and procedures.
Oversight of operations to identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, waste reduction, safety/ergonomics, etc.
Investigation and resolution of process and product deviations.
Development of process changes to accommodate new products and improvements to existing products.
Design and support development of tools and fixtures to support lean manufacturing.
Interface with Design Engineering, Product Development, and Purchasing teams to develop products for manufacturability.
Interface with manufacturing personnel to develop process and procedural documentation.
Works with Design Engineering during the component design phase to ensure the design can be manufactured in a cost effective manner.
Prepares technical procedures and documents to support improvements, processes and changes.
On site resource to solve manufacturing process problems.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to share knowledge and teach proper methods and procedures.
Computer skills to include (Microsoft Office products and local touch screen systems)
Ability to adapt and adjust priorities as necessary to support operations.
Ability to travel locally and internationally periodically as needed.
