Job Purpose
The Controls Engineering – Electric Powertrain is responsible for the company’s powertrain platform control algorithms, software development and embedded electromechanical firmware.
Job Duties
Controls Engineer will ensure the reliability and robustness of the powertrain controls while working with various cross-functional teams (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, systems technicians) to develop the algorithms and software. They will conduct control design reviews to ensure high product quality.
Additionally, the Controls Engineer works closely with the rest of the Engineering and Product Development departments to develop new products/features and to continually increase existing product power and efficiency.
