This position is responsible for assisting with labor relations including contract administration for faculty and staff. Serves as specialist to the Associate Vice President and Assistant Vice President in the administration of 6 labor agreements, including: Faculty; Supervisory and Managerial; ProTech; Administrative Support; Maintenance and Operational; and Public Safety Officers. The Labor Relations Specialist is also responsible for creating a positive impression of Human Resources and Mott Community College by providing excellent customer service and resolving routine matters presented by customers. The Labor Relations Specialist works collaboratively with other members of Human Resources to appropriately serve the College’s employees. Supervisory Responsibility : The Labor Relations Specialist may occasionally share supervision of work study students and/or temporary employees for specific projects.
