M & K Quality Truck Sales was incorporated in 1989, when successful salesperson, Ron Meyering bought the used truck inventory of a leasing company to become an entrepreneur in his own right. Over the next decade, Ron steadily grew the business, and when the opportunity to acquire Volvo truck dealerships in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo came along in 2002, he added these high-quality new trucks – as well as a second location – to the company.
The Mack brand was added to the M & K family in Kalamazoo in 2003, and that location moved to an expanded facility the following year. M&K Truck Centers has continued to grow and thrive in the mid-west.
Global Volvo Trucks Volume Sales Leader 2017, Dealer of the Year for Volvo Trucks in North America 2015, 2014 and 2008, Central Region Dealer of the Year for Volvo 2017 and 2007, Central Region Dealer of the Year for Mack Trucks 2016, 2015 and 2014, M&K represents Mack, Volvo, Hino, and Isuzu trucks; Wabash, Benson, East and Transcraft trailers; and Renegade Motor Coaches. The organizations’ comprehensive service offerings include financing, leasing and rental services as a member of NationaLease, service and repair on all makes and models, and one of the industry’s largest parts inventories. M&K employs over 900 talented people across 21 locations in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Pennsylvania and is headquartered in Byron Center, Michigan.
