Dalton Industries was founded in 1999. We started as a small milling and manufacturing facility in a 10,000 square foot building, continuing to grow, despite recessions, eventually moving into a 90,000 + square foot manufacturing building with available rail spur with an 8 acre yard. Dalton Industries is a privately held company with some of the largest equipment in the Midwest, servicing customers both domestically and internationally.

Although we are known for our expertise in the metals industry, Dalton industries is also a leader in the aggregate industry, rebuilding and manufacturing crusher rolls, finish grind rolls and raw grind rolls, and shipping them worldwide. With over forty years of experience in fabrication, welding, stress relieving, and assembly, our in-house engineering and complete machine shop allow us a competitive advantage in both quality control and cost effectiveness. Dalton’s legacy of experience offers complete turnkey manufacturing solutions with superior quality and industry leading turnaround time. As comfortable as we are with large/heavy machinery, we also excel at the smaller, more intricate type of manufacturing. We are not just a job shop; we do complete customer specific projects.

This individual would be responsible for supporting the Assembly/Disassembly, Fabrication, and Machining department as needed in order to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. This is a day shift job with a pay rate that will reflect the general ability of the applicant. This individual would be responsible for inspecting both large and small machined parts, as well as issuing and ensuring the completion of the corresponding inspection sheets and reports under the direction of the Quality Department Manager. This is a day-shift job with a pay rate that will reflect the general ability and knowledge of the applicant. The position of the Precision Machine Inspector / Clerk is composed of but not limited to the following: Inspecting large parts on the machine with the machinist. Inspecting small parts and verifying what the machinist has recorded. Making final inspection sheets, assembly check sheets, test sheets, etc. per specific job. Issuing reports to each department throughout the day as needed. Verifying all reports are accurate and completed in full.
