PCSI is seeking a motivated, friendly, and seasoned HVAC Mechanic to join our team. This role will be responsible for delivering the highest quality service for our customers. This position is at one location, so no traveling is required. The ideal candidate should have some experience working with a diverse workgroup such Veterans and individuals with disabilities.

What You'll Do as a HVAC Mechanic:
Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday
- Installs, modifies, and repairs air conditioning, ventilation, reverse osmosis systems, computer rooms, process coolers, ice machines, evaporative cooling, air compressing and related control systems, including pneumatic, DDC and building control systems equipment.
- Performs difficult installation tasks involving assembly, testing, calibrating, and adjusting of temperature control and environmental control systems such as air conditioning plants, air environmental control systems, air distribution systems, complex dual equipment cooling installations, specialized refrigerated warehouses and facilities, evaporative mechanical ventilation, and dehumidification systems.
- Installs new or repaired component and performs complex modifications of systems and components in accordance with applicable electrical publications and directives, and will maintain and repair specialized laboratory equipment such as fume hoods, deionized water systems, etc.
- May perform complex repair of system components such as compressors, condensers, heat pump regulators, fluid and refrigerant gas line valves, meters, and gauges, digital controlled devices, hydraulic heating and cooling, and economizer systems.
- On-call for after-hours emergency calls.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, and motor vehicle report.
- Valid Driver’s License required and ability to be insured by company.
- Able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Vocational or technical training certification in air conditioning systems or a related mechanical field.
- Current Universal EPA CFC certification.
- Two years’ experience in commercial building maintenance and repair related to HVAC.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and appliances required for installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with commercial refrigeration systems for temperature sensitive food storage
- Ability to follow maintenance instructions, service, diagnose systems and complete repairs.
