In 1976, Parker Plumbing and Heating in Belding became Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating Inc. when Mike Arntz and Gordon Parker joined forces and bought the company from Gordon’s father, Frank Parker. For 20 years, Mike and Gordon worked alongside each other to build a reputable Plumbing and HVAC company that focused on helping the needs of the surrounding communities. In 1996, Gordon sold his share of the business and Mike took on sole ownership. That same year, Mike moved company headquarters north on M-91 to the bustling town of Greenville, where the company still operates today under the continued support from the Arntz family with Mike’s son, Chad Arntz, as acting President.
