Team Up Academy, a nonprofit workforce-development organization preparing returning citizens, veterans, and challenged individuals for career-path employment in Michigan’s manufacturing and warehousing sectors.
Every day we work to solve two problems at once:
1. Thousands of people need a real second chance — not just a job, but a pathway.
2. Michigan employers urgently need reliable, trained workers who are ready to perform.
At Team Up Academy, we bridge that gap.
Our students receive hands-on industry-relevant training in CNC machining, machine operation, warehousing & forklift certification, soft-skills development, and job-readiness coaching. Will be starting up new programs that will include machine grinding , drone operator, 3-D printing and industrial sewing. Most importantly, every student is matched with a mentor from day one through their first 90 days on the job — because support beyond the classroom is what makes success sustainable.
