The Opportunity:
As a Media Trader, you’ll be joining a dynamic programmatic media buying team and play a key role in the success of our client’s campaigns and goals. The Media Trader is ultimately responsible for setting up, executing, and optimizing client’s campaigns. As an integral player on your team, you will ensure a campaign’s success and find creative ways to say YES to our clients.
 
Location:
Brkthru operates as a fully remote company with occasional mandatory travel for training and offsites, provided with advance notice. We uphold the expectation that all team members maintain a dedicated and reliable workspace, free from distractions, to ensure optimal productivity.
 
Our hiring strategy prioritizes proximity to key markets and business hubs to foster collaboration and better serve our clients. Candidates must reside within select locations and metro areas to ensure accessibility for travel, alignment with team operations, and for in-person collaboration. Candidates based outside of these locations will not be considered at this time. Responsibilities:
  • The Media Trader maintains a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives, translating them into successful programmatic and social campaigns
  • Possesses a deep understanding of campaign and industry metrics for measurement
  • Fluent understanding and curiosity of the programmatic landscape (iOS 14.5 onward, cookie deprecation, privacy, etc)
  • The Media Trader sets-up, manages, optimizes, and provides insights, narrative and recommendations to drive campaign performance
  • Guide Associate Traders on campaign recommendations, modifications, and education while collaborating with Senior Media Traders on large initiatives
  • The Media Trader executes campaigns flawlessly, provides direction and assigns tasks to Associate Media Traders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of hands-on, in-platform experience launching, testing, optimizing, and speaking to programmatic marketing campaigns
  • Experience using the following platforms: The Trade Desk, Beeswax, Facebook, DV360, Adelphic, Campaign Manager, Simpli.fi, X (Twitter) LinkedIn, Amazon, Snapchat, or TikTok
  • Proven ability to work independently and multi-task: Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work
  • Demonstrates excellent analytics skills
  • Possesses strong project management abilities
  • Communicates with confidence and clarity
  • Willingness to go above and beyond specific requirements to exceed expectations

Benefits

  • Compensation commensurate with experience between $65,000 - $75,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
