IT Technician

Onsite - no hybrid

The IT Technician is part of a team responsible for supporting approximately 600 plus Windows users, PC’s, and printers.  The IT Technician is within the support organization, providing day-to-day user support, after hours on call rotations, computer hardware and software support, network support, etc.

Duties:

• Serve as first contact for all end user hardware/software issues, etc.
• Offering technical support on-site or via phone, remote assistance software or email.
• Answer support requests through online help desk ticketing software.
• Create and deploy PC images to support various computer hardware and departments.
• Install new PCs and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot end user connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on end user computers.
• Maintain software and hardware inventory lists.
• Work with third party vendors on equipment warranty repairs and returns.
• Assist with server software and hardware issues.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience.
• 3+ Years of experience in Windows operating systems (7,10,11).
• 2+ Years of experience in PC hardware support.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical individuals.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated customer interaction skills and teamwork competencies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
