REGISTERED NURSE

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct, in-home patient care through the R.U.S.H. platform, delivering reliable, urgent, and supportive healthcare services to patients in their community. The RN promotes patient independence, comfort, and safety by offering high-quality skilled nursing interventions and accurate documentation. This position emphasizes autonomy, clinical excellence, and compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care in the patient’s home setting, including:

  • Vital sign monitoring and assessments

  • Wound care and dressing changes

  • Post-operative recovery and discharge follow-up

  • Medication administration and education

  • Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, CHF)

  • IV therapy and injections as ordered

• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and develop nursing care plans in alignment with patient needs.

• Deliver compassionate education to patients and caregivers regarding disease prevention, medication safety, and lifestyle management.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete charting in the R.U.S.H. electronic health record (EHR) system.

  • Document all assessments, interventions, patient responses, and provider communications in compliance with R.U.S.H. documentation standards.

  • Submit visit notes and reports promptly after each encounter.

• Communicate patient status, progress, and any changes in condition to the assigned provider or supervising RN.

• Uphold infection control, HIPAA, and state nursing standards during all patient interactions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.

• Support R.U.S.H.’s mission of expanding access to home-based healthcare while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and clinical integrity.
