CNA/HHA/Caregiver

Caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs with R.U.S.H. deliver compassionate, reliable in-home support to patients who need assistance with daily living, recovery, and basic health needs. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will help patients maintain dignity, independence, and comfort in their homes. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in quality care, safety, and genuine human connection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

• Support mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation per patient care plan.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and families.

• Monitor and report changes in the patient’s condition, behavior, or environment to the supervising nurse promptly.

• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure) when trained and assigned.

• Support patients with prescribed exercise or therapy routines as directed by the clinical team.

• Maintain accurate daily documentation and charting of care provided in the R.U.S.H. electronic record system.

  • Record all services performed, observations, and patient responses before clocking out.

  • Report any safety or health concerns immediately to the supervising RN.

• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and patient safety guidelines during all visits.
