Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household items onto and off of trucks. Wrap and protect furniture and other items to prevent damage during transport. Handle customer belongings with the utmost care and professionalism. Provide friendly and proactive communication with customers throughout the moving process. Maintain a positive attitude, even in challenging situations, to make moving day enjoyable for clients. Duties:  Traffic control flagging on roadways. "Weed-whipping" behind roadside grass cutting crews. Picking up roadside litter with tongs or point stick. Roadway and land surveying for data entry. Operate agency pickup trucks for road maintenance needs. Management of road sign inventory. Filing and digitizing documents. Must perform duties in a professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County. Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation. Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position. Special Experience/Education: This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
