Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Die Setter to join our team in Sterling Heights. The Die Setter will be responsible for setting up and adjusting dies in stamping presses to produce parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Set up and adjust dies in stamping presses Ensure that parts are produced according to specifications Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dies and presses Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety protocols and procedures Requirements: Previous experience as a Die Setter or similar role Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Role Purpose: Performs dynamic and static tests in accordance with government regulations, regulatory body specifications and manufacturing requirements.   Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Plans sequence of testing and certification procedures for instruments ( crash test dummies ) and equipment. Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and certify other instruments and test equipment. Communicate with laboratory supervisor and manufacturing on a regular basis to insure rapid resolution to issues and consistency of applied methodologies. Input data information and utilize data acquisition systems to perform system checks and data collection for ATDs.
