DESCRIPTION The Calibration Tuning Engineer is responsible for calibrating, optimizing, and validating diesel engine control strategies to meet performance, fuel economy, emissions, and drivability targets. The role demands strong understanding of the diesel engine features and simulation techniques. RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Lead calibration and tuning of   diesel engine parameters   including fuel injection timing and quantity, rail pressure, combustion phasing, air-path, EGR, boost control, and thermal management. Ensure recommended corrective and preventive actions are developed, tracked, verified, and integrated into Control Plans for sustainable impact. 2. Root-Cause Analysis & CAPA Trigger RCA protocols (e.g., 5‑Whys, Fishbone, 8D) in response to SPC alerts, QC escapes, scrap, or assembly issues. Clearly define problem statements, investigate timeline and contributing factors, and execute cross-functional RCA sessions .
