Welder/Fabricator Huron Valley Steel Corporation in Belleville, Michigan operates a non-ferrous metals recycling facility.   Position Summary: Huron Valley Steel Corporation is looking for a welder/fabricator at our Belleville, MI Metals Recycling Plant.   Qualifications Include: *Class “A” Fitter-Welder with the ability to read prints. *Experience with Arc, Mig, Tig, Stick,  and Flux Core Welding. *Ability to operate shop equipment such as torches, drills, plasma cutters, saws, and shears. * Must be able to work overtime as needed. * Must be able to work on one’s feet for an entire shift, and lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis.   Huron Valley Steel Corporation is a drug-free workplace and conducts pre-employment drug testing.  Candidate must pass drug screening as a condition of employment.   

Days & Afternoon Shift Openings Qualified candidates shall have 3-5 years minimum experience in: Welders/Fabricators: MIG, TIG, flux core, blueprint reading Responsibilities: Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products Install and repair various equipment and components Follow blueprints to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance Average of 45-55 hours per week ​ Qualifications: Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields Familiarity with welding tools and procedures Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics Ability to handle physical workload
