Location: Southern Michigan Company: Bildon Parts & Service

Overview: Bildon Parts & Service is hiring a Commercial Cooking Equipment Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment at customer locations. You’ll handle everything from ovens and fryers to steamers and dish machines—performing preventative maintenance and responding to service calls with speed and skill.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish machines)

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections

• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members

• Complete service calls promptly and professionally

• Maintain service vehicle and manage parts inventory

• Participate in on-call rotation

• Identify new service opportunities during customer visits

• Attend training sessions and stay current with industry standards

• Complete paperwork accurately and on time

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience servicing commercial cooking equipment or related military experience

• Strong electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, punctual, and organized

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Must pass drug screening and background check

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, broilers

• CFESA certification or related training

• EPA Universal Certification

• Comfortable with mobile tech and digital tools
