Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a Machine Programmer for our 1st Shift at our Thompson Road location. The hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday, with overtime as required for production on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sundays.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Programmer to join our team at a structural steel fabrication manufacturing facility. The Machine Programmer will be responsible for programming and operating machinery to produce high-quality steel components according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and set up machines to produce steel components
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with programming or machinery
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What Requirements Are Needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience with programming beam line, angle line equipment or similar CNC equipment preferred.
- Understands operation of robotics and importing of solid model files.
- Ability to recognize and follow production priorities.
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
- Previous experience as a Machine Programmer in a structural steel fabrication manufacturing facility
- Proficiency in programming and operating machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties. Required to frequently lift and move 10-50 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
