Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a Modular Construction Assembler on our 3rd Shift. The hours are 9 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, with overtime as required on weekends as needed for production.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assemble walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, plastics, drywall and composites of multiple materials.
- Measure and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from Supervisor.
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
- Ensure the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as tape measures, levels, framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
- Fit and install windows and doors.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Requirements Are Needed
- Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
- 2+ years of experience as a skilled carpenter, drywall technician, framer, or general laborer required.
- Experience working with different carpentry materials, and understanding of carpentry techniques/methods of installation construction.
- Good understanding of basic math and ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Walking/Standing/Bending for long periods of time.
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties. Required to frequently lift and move 10-50 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
