We are looking for Several different Snow Season positions all over the Lansing area; below is a list of the open positions, pay range and any specific requirements for each role.

Snow Tech / Sidewalk Laborer: THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $20 - $25 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD.

The only requirements for this role are the ability to reliably commute to the Branch, Authorization to Work in the US (physical documents required to prove), be at least 18 years of age or older. the Physical capability to do the job and reporting to the Branch for work when called and asked to do so. 

Due to the nature of ON CALL and that most of the Snow shifts are overnight; there is a zero-tolerance policy for not returning communication or showing up when contacted to work.

SNOW HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (SKID STEER/LOADER/LARGE TRACTOR): THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $20 - $30 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

THIS ROLE IS A Part-Time; On-Call - AS NEEDED ROLE. MEANING YOU WILL NOT WORK UNLESS THE SNOW LEVELS REACH A POINT WHERE THE ALL-ROUND STAFF CANNOT HANDLE IT.

The requirements for this role are the ability to reliably commute to the Branch, Authorization to Work in the US (physical documents required to prove), BEING 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, Valid Driver’s License (preferably a Chauffer’s License) and reporting to the Branch for work when called and asked to do so. Please also note: Heavy Machinery experience, specifically Loaders, Skid Steer and/or Large Tractor experience, is required for this role.

Due to the nature of ON CALL and that most of the Snow shifts are overnight; there is a zero-tolerance policy for not returning communication or showing up when contacted to work.

PLOW/SALT BRINE TRUCK DRIVER: THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $20 - $30 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

The requirements for this role are the ability to reliably commute to the Branch, Authorization to Work in the US (physical documents required to prove), BEING 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, Valid CDL A License and reporting to the Branch for work when called and asked to do so. Please also note: Large or Municipal-sized Plow/Salt trucks or Salt Brine Truck experience for Snow Removal, is required for this role.
