The Stand-Up Hi-Low operator position at Lipari Foods is a warehouse position that is responsible for dropping and replenishing products in the appropriate pick slot locations, as well as keeping the floors fully stocked with product. This position utilizes stand up Crown Stand-up Forklift reach trucks. Candidates for this position will be required to work one of the following schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Stocks all pick slots in assigned area to ensure that there are no empty pick slots at the end of the day, while monitoring all dated and perishable product.
• Rotates products nightly using the first-in-first-out (FIFO) method of dropping overstocks down to pick slots
• Locates and delivers product to slots that are empty as requested by warehouse associates in an effort to enhance the efficiency of the order selection process.
• Responsible for cleaning designated area at the end of the shift as dictated by management.
• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times without exception.
• Records all product, equipment and warehouse damage
• Attend all required company meetings.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by management personnel.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Ability to lift and carry product in excess of fifty pounds
• Must have experience utilizing a stand up forklift
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Willingness to work in fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• High school education plus one year warehouse or physically demanding position preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands for duration of scheduled shift.
• Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to undergo exposure to extreme temperature consisting of 37 degrees for duration of entire shift.
