Job Description
The driver will ensure all products are delivered to our customers in a safe and timely manner. The driver will deliver products to our customers at street level; which includes breaking down pallets and moving product from the trailer to the store with a hand cart. Driver may also be responsible for transferring freight from one trailer to another at a depot location.
KEY RESPONSILITIES:
- Transfers occur by parking the trailers back to back
- Driver will also be responsible for verifying the returns and backhauls and may also be responsible for collecting payments from customers upon delivery
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CDL A Required
- Must have more than one year of driving experience and more than 50,000 miles in a tractor trailer
- No DUI within the last 5 years
- Must meet FMCSA requirements
- Ability to push/ pull 50-100+ pounds consistently
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Proven ability to communicate with customers professionally
