Critical Path Method Scheduler (MSP/P6)

Job Description

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM), a 41-year old established national project and program management consulting company, is seeking critical path method (CPM) schedulers supporting our clients in Michigan, Ohio, and South Carolina.  ACM seeks those with 2 to 20+ years of experience. 

ACM's clients over the past 41 years have resided in every industry, but our work is currently concentrated on construction projects within the manufacturing, utility, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, and institutional industries.

Must be experienced in critical path method (CPM) scheduling by utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.  Resource and/or cost loading experience is a plus.  Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the software program in the construction, petrochemical, and/or utility industries.

The Right Candidate Should Be Able To:

  • Develop and update weekly schedules working and coordinating/communicating with owner and contractor superintendents, field engineers, and project managers;
  • Evaluate project schedule progress, performance and proactively identify developing problem areas;
  • Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to project completion and recommend alternative work paths;
  • Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;

  • Oracle Primavera P6; Microsoft® Project and Office; SAP; and/or an off the shelf project management system;
  • Construction and/or manufacturing projects experience;
  • Willingness to Travel.
