What You'll Own

As our Swiss Machining Process Owner, you'll be responsible for much more than writing programs.

You'll develop the manufacturing process from the first print review through production, continuously improving every job that comes through the department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Programming, setting up, and proving out CNC Swiss lathes.
• Developing efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes for complex precision components.
• Selecting tooling, workholding, and machining strategies that maximize quality, tool life, and productivity.
• Troubleshooting difficult machining challenges and implementing long-term solutions.
• Continuously improving programs, cycle times, setups, and manufacturing methods.
• Supporting production by resolving technical issues and reducing downtime.
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve manufacturability.
• Helping establish best practices and standardizing successful processes.
• Mentoring machinists and helping develop the next generation of Swiss talent.
• Driving continuous improvement throughout the Swiss machining department.

What You'll Bring

• Extensive CNC Swiss programming and setup experience.
• Strong understanding of Swiss machining principles and process development.
• Experience with complex, tight-tolerance precision components.
• CAM programming experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, chip control, and cycle optimization.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Experience That Will Help You Stand Out

• Aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing experience.
• Multi-axis Swiss machining experience.
• Process ownership or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Fixture or tooling design experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.
• Experience mentoring programmers and machinists.
• ERP or manufacturing software experience.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting at $35.00 per hour, with substantially higher compensation available for candidates who bring exceptional Swiss programming experience, advanced process development expertise, and the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift
